I am a learner to blogging. learning something new everyday. I have decided to showcase spaces in three categories on my blog, those which touch move and inspire me. those which have a soul and breathe life . The categories would be Homes, Boutique hotels and gardens.
Let me start with one in a boutique restaurant category which I visited this month in Goa.
This is from the casa group . This group has a chain of beautiful hotels in Goa. Each and every one of them is unique in its own way. The owner has breathed life into it. She has a passion for it. ...The one I visited this month was in Anjuna. called Casa Anjuna. In may I had visited the Casa Vagator hotel.
Today I am putting pics of Casa Anjuna. Loved every nook of it. The choice of furniture aptly placed as though meant for that corner. The choice of colours ...native to the goans. The Portuguese touch....I checked with the manager for history the history of the house and he said it was owned by an English man and he sold it before going back to the English land he he said.
He also shared that the original structure was all that which had the original flooring--those with hand painted tiles. The ones beyond that was newly extended structures.
I was just imagining the glory it would have then. It is a huge structure with beautiful staircase and with a beautiful garden. The location also is beautiful ..close to the anjuna beach.
the best part of it was the use of Vibrant colours ..something which always touches me. It potrays the nature of the Goans...check it out
